David is Protected

Saul’s plotting against David has not stopped, and Jonathan quickly learns of the plan. Wishing to protect his friend, he warns David about this plot and makes plans to convince his father to have mercy on David. Jonathan was successful, and all was well again, at least for a time. 1 Samuel 19:18
In the last episode, we saw how David had more and more victories in battles because God’s favor was upon everything David did. Saul grew increasingly jealous of David and bitter about his impending loss of the throne. Saul repeatedly tried to find ways for David to die but was always unsuccessful. And even when David married Saul’s daughter Michal, Saul did not relent in his plans against David. Today we’ll see how Saul again tries to take David’s life and how God’s protection is upon the man who will soon be king over God’s people.
