Do You Love Me?

Do You Love Me?

Thomas and the disciples were arguing about the reality of what they just saw. Ten of them were in an upper room when they saw Jesus before them and had a meal together. But Thomas was not there that day and refused to believe such a thing. Eight days later, the disciples gathered together again and this time Thomas was with them. But there was another man who entered the locked room. Jesus. He had heard Thomas’ doubt and came to comfort him. Meanwhile, Peter and some of the other disciples were on the sea fishing. Luke 21:15
In yesterday’s episode, we heard how Jesus appeared to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. While the men did not recognize him, Jesus explained how God’s Word pointed to Jesus’s coming, his death, and his resurrection. Finally, the men’s eyes were opened to see Jesus as their Savior and they quickly ran to tell others. Today we’ll hear how Jesus restores a disciple who is holding on to the guilt and weight of failure and another who is filled with doubt.
